As we get older, we give ourselves time to play less, if at all. And we tell ourselves that we are not 'creative', according to an old, narrow definition. Yet studies show that being creative makes us happy and keeps our brains sharp over the course of our lives. Trust the Process Craft Parties take the anxiety out of what to create and how to make time and space to explore and have fun with what we are capable of. We supply the what, where, and how so you can kick back and play.

About your Guide through the Process:

Hi, I'm Kate Zirpolo, of KateKreateZ.
I grew up a theatre kid, and have a (yellowing) BFA in Theatre Design to prove it. Having fallen away from that industry over the years, the draw to all things art supplies never left me. At some point, I became obsessed with painting things, be it wooden eggs, lamps, ceramic objects, or my kid's face. Deciding to shake things up after the pandemic, I got a part-time gig as a paint nite artist. Watching all manner of people enjoy themselves over a bit of paint, a bit of guidance, a bit to eat and drink, and with their friends, I realized there was a way to get back to playtime, even as an adult.
And now, I want to bring it to you.
